Conversation & Coffee with… Milton J. Nieuwsma

The Ottawa County Democrats invite you to join us for an afternoon of Coffee & Conversation with Emmy Award winning journalist and film producer Milton Nieuswma. 
 
Holland's own Milt Nieuswma will read excerpts from his book that has just been re-released called Miracle on Chestnut Street, about the events in Thomas Jefferson's life that led to his writing the Declaration of Independence, highlighting what happened in 1775, 250 years ago, that changed the course of history, and how & why it's relevant to what is happening in our government today.

Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
 
Following the presentation we’ll have discussion and Q&A.

Milton Nieuwsma is a two-time Emmy Award-winning writer, journalist, and public television producer. For many years he traveled the world as a freelance correspondent for the Chicago Tribune and Los Angeles Times. In 2009, Hope College honored him with a Distinguished Alumni Award. Milt resides in Holland.
