Kent Dems Youth Caucus - Service Outing at New City Neighbors

New City Neighbors is a local nonprofit that seeks to empower youth through urban agriculture, leadership training, and community involvement. They operate a one-acre farm right in Midtown GR, in addition to growing at two other locations in Rockford and Allendale. Come get your hands dirty with the Kent Dems Youth Caucus as we help New City Neighbors tend to their farm! Exact jobs will be based on their needs on the day-of, but expect activities like weeding, picking vegetables, and washing produce.
