Waste Reduction
- To reduce organic waste (food, yard, paper, wood, etc.) from entering area landfills & the incinerator.
- To reduce the prevalence of non-recyclable, single use materials in our waste stream
Energy Efficiency
- Scale up high-impact community energy projects.
- Expand programs that make EE and RE financially viable for residents and businesses.
Environmental Conservation
- Improve community planning and development practices to protect natural areas and water
- Support environmental education programs
Organizational Operations
- To build a strong caucus that engages residents, government, and organizations to make a positive impact on local environmental policy
- Create a strong identity where members know what’s going on and how they can participate
