Petition Signature Training - Happy Hour Kickoff!

We are excited to announce that Kent Dems, Indivisible of Greater Grand Rapids, and Distill Social are collaborating with Michigan for the Many to gather signatures for important upcoming ballot proposals.

Join us on August 5th for our inaugural Happy Hour Training Session!

During this session, you will gain insights into the three current proposals for which we are collecting signatures: Invest in MI Kids, Taking Back Our Power: Michiganders for Money Out of Politics, and Rank MI Vote. You’ll also learn about the regulations surrounding signature gathering and the steps involved in obtaining and returning the petitions.

While we try to support and facilitate efforts that align with our mission, our involvement does not imply full endorsement of every position or action taken by our partners. We value solidarity and cooperation while at the same time recognizing a diversity of thought and approach within broader movements for social justice and systemic change.
 This collaboration with Michigan for the Many offers limited support to help train signature gatherers for several potential ballot initiatives. The Kent Dems has not yet taken a position on, much less formally endorsed, any specific ballot initiatives, but it may do so if and when those initiatives are on the ballot.
